Free Knit Cowl Pattern

I’m sorry its been a while since I’ve posted a new pattern.  As you may know I run a small photography business and October is insanely busy!  Not that I’m complaining, its awesome to have work.  After years of struggling I’m finally finding that I have a constant steady stream of incoming sessions.  So for all of you out there who are just starting out a business and feeling like you want to quit, please don’t!  Things take time, and you will succeed if you stick with it and keep working on improving.  I guess I went off on a tangent there, and I’m not sure if you do have a small business…. but it seems like a lot of my followers are young mothers like me, trying to find profitable work that they are passionate about.

Now, back to this lovely cowl pattern.  I’m feeling so blessed that over 1200 of you have signed up for my mailing list, and I want to thank you by posting another easy, fun, and completely free pattern.  Christmas is coming up in a couple of months and you may have your mind on holiday shopping already.  Store bought gifts are great, but handmade gifts are a way for you to show someone that they are so special to you that you sacrificed your time to make something cozy and warm for them to wear.  This cowl would make anyone feel loved.  I used a very soft merino wool blend.  So not only does the scarf look great, but if feels absolutely luxurious and comfy cozy!  I would guess the retail value if you bought this at a store would work out to around $50.  So save yourself some cash and make a bunch of these cowls for those special friends or family members on your holiday list.
